We're absolutely delighted to announce that SWAN has been awarded one of this year's grants from the Women's Fund Scotland to help fund our SWAN Places groups
The Women's Fund Scotland was established in 2002 and plays a critical role in supporting the voluntary sector by influencing change and raising and distributing funds throughout Scotland.
Their funding focuses on women and girls' needs identified by grassroots organisations that other funders simply cannot reach.
SWAN applied to the Women's Fund Scotland for support to:
- Improve autistic women’s health & wellbeing
- Grow autistic women’s social connections
- Build autistic women’s skills & confidence
We'll be using this grant to help fund our SWAN Places meet-up groups, support our autistic volunteer facilitators and provide spaces for autistic women to come together in their local communities for information, support and connection.
