SWAN is delighted to join the Disability Friendly initiative, in Scotland. This initiative, helps businesses and organisations to proudly show their support for disabled people within the community. Committing to staff training and making small adjustments, where we can, will help to ensure that our valued customers and service users can feel supported, respected and
included.

Carol Burt-Wilson of I Am Me Scotland has said we are looking forward to working with fabulous partners to develop and build a network across Scotland, which will help people living with disabilities and long term health conditions to continue being active and valued members of their communities. Thank you to Awards for All for supporting us.

Thank you also to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service and all of our disability partners across Scotland, who have kindly shared their organisation resources and expertise to help us develop this training. The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) Equality Champion and Depute Crown Agent, Ruth McQuaid said “COPFS are proud to work in partnership with I Am Me Scotland and delighted to support this new Disability Friendly initiative which supports people from across Scotland to feel supported and included within their local community”
