Some of our SWANs met up for a fantastic sunny trip to Stirling Castle
Some of the members of our SWAN groups came together on Tuesday for a brilliant tour of Stirling Castle.
As we moved from the Great Hall to the Royal Palace, everyone found their own way of connecting and sharing stories. We were even treated to a song from one of the Castle courtiers all about dragons!
One of our SWAN volunteers has incredible historical knowledge and kindly answered all our questions as we walked around.
Getting out and exploring new places as a SWAN social group was such a fun thing to do. As one SWAN commented at the end:
“It was so amazing to talk with like minded people in a beautiful place”
Thank you to Historic Scotland who very kindly gave us free entry to visit the Castle at a quieter time of the day and it was just fantastic. I’m sure we will be organising more trips like this in the future.
