SWAN was invited to guest on Lochaber Hope's podcast 'Talking Hope' this month - alongside delivering training for the Lochaber Hope team as they launch their new community group for autistic women in the Fort William area.
This month we have been busy working with Lochaber Hope as they launch their new group for autistic women at their New Connections community hub in Fort William.
SWAN Projects Lead, Becky Choat, was invited onto their "Talking Hope Podcast" to chat about autistic women and co-occuring mental health conditions, and some of the barriers we can face in accessing support and understanding.

We also spent time with the team this week delivering our autistic-led 'Increasing Understanding of Autism' training. during the training we had great discussions around autistic identity, communication, monotropism, stigma and masking, autistic joy and lots more!
It's been great to work with the team at Lochaber Hope and their community hub, and we are looking forward to seeing how their work with autistic women and non-binary people in their community continues to grow.
