Have you been to a SWAN Post Diagnosis Group since October 2023?
Could you spare 10 minutes to take part in an online survey about your experience, and have the chance to win £100 shopping vouchers - and help SWAN out?!
Why are we doing this?
Our funders (Inspiring Scotland and Scottish Government) have commissioned an evaluation of the Autistic Adult Support Fund, which funds post diagnosis support projects run by SWAN and 15 other organisations across Scotland.
The evaluation will help demonstrate how valuable and vital this support is, and hopefully help lead to further funding in future.
The evaluation is being carried out by experienced autistic researcher Sinead Assenti, from Assenti Research. We have worked with Sinead at SWAN in the past and she is kind, supportive and generally fantastic, so we trust this work is in really safe hands.
The evaluation is really important to help demonstrate the impact that appropriate support can have for autistic adults and secure funding to provide these services for others in the future, so we're asking you to fill in a survey to tell us about your experiences at SWAN - even if you have already done so in the past.
If ongoing funding is secured, we are hoping to be able to develop a follow-up course for those who have attended the PDS group and would like the chance to come back further along in their journey to reflect, revisit and delve a bit deeper into topics, process in new ways, reconnect and continue to learn more about your autistic identity and how to support your wellbeing.
The survey is going out to everyone who's accessed support from 15 different organisations across Scotland, and the final report will go to Scottish Government.
The survey is open until the end of February 2025, and each month people who have completed a questionnaire have the option to be entered into a prize draw to win £100 of supermarket shopping e-vouchers - you can choose Tesco, Morrisons, Asda or M&S.
Want to know more?
The evaluation is anonymous and confidential. Your completed questionnaire is sent directly to Sinead at Assenti Research and not to SWAN.
The survey asks for your contact information only if you want to enter the prize draw or if you are willing to volunteer to take part in a research interview. These contact details are not used for any other purpose. When Sinead is reporting on the data she will be looking at all the surveys and not focussing on individual responses.
- The questionnaire should take about 8 minutes to complete. Please note that you cannot save your progress so it’s best to start when you have time to spare.

Many thanks for your help with this important evaluation.
